Skagit Valley Bald Eagle Festival

Bald eagles doing what they do best

This is excerpt test…

The Skagit Valley Eagle Festival begins the first weekend in January! We’ve been going up to Rockport and driving along the Skagit River for the last few weekends. Already multiple eagles are stopping in and checking out this year’s salmon run. We’re hoping they’re signaling more of their friends about the delicious feast flowing up river! Fingers crossed we will see many eagles hunting, flying and just being eagles along the Skagit this season.

The festival lasts the entire month of January, with activities on weekends in Concrete, Rockport, and Marblemount.

The Skagit Valley Bald Eagle Interpretive Center is a wonderful place to start your explorations and ask questions about these wonderful creatures. They have some very passionate and knowledgeable experts to walk you through some trails you wouldn’t find yourself. Make sure to wear warm clothes, your camera, proper shoes, and absolute enthusiasm!
